The image shows the back and partial profile of a woman dressed in a full skirt and a large hat examining art work in a folio rack. Gottlob was a student of Jobbe-Duval, Laporte and G. Fuchs. He worked as a portraitist, graphic artist and book illustrator during the Belle Epoque period.
